TOWN OF GHENT NOTICE OF 2022 PRELIMINARY BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING AND WORKSHOP MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a public hearing before the Ghent Town Board on November 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering the 2022 Preliminary Budget. The public hearing will be conducted and open to the public via the Zoom online meeting platform. A link and instructions to join the public hearing will be posted to the Town of Ghent website (www.townofghent.org) beginning 72 hours prior to the public hearing. A copy of the 2022 Preliminary Budget may be viewed on the Town of Ghent website or inspected during regular business hours in the Office of the Town Clerk. The following proposed salaries are set forth in the 2022 Preliminary Budget: Town Supervisor – $12,000.00; each Town Board member – $3,895.00; the Town Clerk – $36,500.00; and the Town Superintendent of Highways – $64,100.00.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the monthly Ghent Town Board workshop meeting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the 2021 Preliminary Budget public hearing. This meeting will also be held via the Zoom online meeting platform. To attend, please following the same instructions as provided for the public hearing.
