PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be three successive public hearings before the Ghent Town Board on December 17, 2020 at 6:45 p.m., 6:50 p.m., and 6:55 p.m. for the purpose of considering Resolutions authorizing the Town of Ghent to enter into contracts for fire protection services with the Ghent Volunteer Fire Company for the area known as the “Ghent Fire Protection District”, the Village of Chatham for the area known as the “Chatham Fire Protection District No. 2”, and the West Ghent Volunteer Fire Company for the area known as the “West Ghent Fire Protection District”. The term of each agreement will be for one (1) year, commencing on January 1, 2021 and terminating on December 31, 2021.
The public hearings will be held via the “Zoom” online meeting platform.

Copies of the proposed 2021 fire contracts may be obtained from the Ghent Town Clerk during normal business hours.
