Town of Ghent Notice of Meetings: Notice of Public Hearing
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that all meetings of the Ghent Town Board, regularly held on the third Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m., will be conducted and open to the public via the Zoom online meeting platform until further notice. A link and instructions to join each meeting will be posted to the Town of Ghent website (www.townofghent.org) beginning 72 hours prior to each meeting.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that there will be a public hearing before the Ghent Town Board on May 20, 2021 at 6:50 p.m. for the purpose of considering Local Law No. 2 of 2021, which would amend the Code of the Town of Ghent, Chapter 40 Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, Section 40-11 Training, to clarify the training requirements for Town of Ghent Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals members. The public hearing will be conducted and open to the public via the Zoom online meeting platform. A link and instructions to join the public hearing will be posted to the Town of Ghent website (www.townofghent.org) beginning 72 hours prior to the public hearing. A copy of the proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2021 may be found on the Town website or obtained from the Ghent Town Clerk during normal business hours.
