TOWN OF GHENT NOTICE OF MEETINGS AND PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that all monthly workshop meetings of the Ghent Town Board will now begin at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York 12075.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that there will be a public hearing before the Ghent Town Board on July 21, 2022, beginning at 6:55 p.m. at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York 12075, for the purpose of considering Local Law No. 1 of 2022, which would amend the Code of the Town of Ghent to permit the public bodies of the Town to conduct and participate in meetings via videoconference. All interested parties will have an opportunity at such time to be heard in connection with the proposed Local Law. A copy of the proposed Local Law may be found on the Town website or obtained from the Ghent Town Clerk during normal business hours.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that there will be no Ghent Town Board workshop or regular meeting on August 18, 2022. The next workshop meeting will be held on August 25, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The next regular meeting will be held on August 25, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York.
