TOWN OF GHENT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a public hearing before the Ghent Town Board on February 15, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York 12075, for the purpose of considering Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2024, which would amend the Code of the Town of Ghent to establish an exemption from fire protection district taxes for volunteer firefighters. All interested parties will have an opportunity at such time to be heard in connection with the proposed local law. A copy of the proposed local law may be found on the Town website or obtained from the Ghent Town Clerk during normal business hours.
