- Notice is hereby given that the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Ghent is completed, and a copy thereof may be seen at Ghent Town Hall, 2306 State Rte. 66, Ghent, NY, beginning May 1 through May 28, 2024..
- Notice is hereby given that an Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Ghent by phone appointment only on the following days: May 8, 15, and 25: 9am – 1pm; May 22: 9-11 am and 6-8 pm.
- Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Ghent will meet to hear and examine all properly filed complaints in relation to assessments of Real Property at Ghent Town Hall, 2306 State Rte. 66, Ghent, on May 28, 2024, 4-8 pm.
- A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office or the Columbia County Real Property Tax Office as well as http://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/publications/orpts/grievancebooklet.pdf.
