TOWN OF GHENT ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING AND SPECIAL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a special meeting and joint public hearing before the Town of Ghent Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals (“ZBA”) on August 13, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering an application by Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems LLC d/b/a Verizon Wireless for a special use permit and site plan approval from the Planning Board, and related area variances from the ZBA, in connection with the construction and operation of a cell tower facility on lands owned by the Town of Ghent and located at 30 Garage Place Road, Ghent, New York (Tax Map No. 75.4-2-7). The public hearing will be conducted and open to the public at the Ghent VFW Post 5933, 2237 Route 66, Ghent, New York, and all interested parties will have an opportunity to be heard. A link to the application materials can be found on the Town of Ghent website (www.townofghent.org/current-applications). The regular monthly meeting of the ZBA will also be held at the VFW on August 13, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or immediately following the joint meeting and public hearing.
