Effective immediately, Cemetery Road, between Rte 66 and County Route 9 is closed to all vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians.
- Drivers can travel between Rte 66 and Rte 9 on the Konig Road, Metz Road or at the intersection of Rte 66 and Rte 9.
- Access to the Ghent Union Cemetery is maintained with its entrance on CR 9. The cemetery access road does not provide a cut through for Cemetery Rd.
- Road crews have secured the area and repairs have been scheduled to begin Monday, Aug 17.
Drivers are asked to drive with care on these alternate routes, as they are narrow roads with many residences and driveways.
