Notice of Public Hearing
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the Ghent Town Board on
May 21, 2026, beginning at 6:55 p.m., at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York 12075, for the purpose of considering Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026, which would amend the Code of the Town of Ghent, Chapter 190 (Zoning), Section 190-2(B), to add definitions for Lot Coverage and Open Land Area, and Appendix B, Table of Dimension Regulations, as it pertains to same. All interested parties will have an opportunity at such time to be heard in connection with the proposed local law.
A copy of the proposed local law may be found on the Town of Ghent website
(www.townofghent.org) or obtained from the Ghent Town Clerk during normal business hours.
