The Chatham-Ghent Senior Citizens Group invites members and prospective members to our August meeting on Wednesday, August 5, at 1:00 PM, at the Ghent Reformed Church, 1039 Co. Rte. 22, Ghent, NY. Our meetings provide an opportunity for seniors to enjoy an afternoon of refreshments, fellowship, and community. We are an active and growing organization, with membership now exceeding 100 persons. We meet regularly and host a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities throughout the year. Our meetings are followed by BINGO for those who enjoy the game.
Our speaker for this meeting will be Columbia County District Attorney, Christopher Liberati-Conant, who will speak about fraud that may target seniors, and how we can protect ourselves from fraud.
