The Town will begin review and revision of the Comprehensive Plan in the next few months. As such, the Town Board invites any Ghent resident (18 years old or older) interested in serving on the Town’s Comprehensive Plan Review Committee (CPRC) to send a letter of interest and resume to Dan Barufaldi, Town Councilmember, by October 9, 2023.
The CPRC tentatively plans to meet on the second Tuesday of every month (more often as workload and subcommittees require). There are several hours of reading in preparation for each meeting, and the meetings typically last 90 minutes or longer. Applicants should count on a 12-18 month commitment.
