If you are unable to apply for a permit online using the link above, paper applications are available at Town Hall. Outside of office hours, completed paper Building Permit applications can be mailed to PO Box 98 Ghent, NY 12075, dropped off at town hall at 2306 State Route 66 Ghent, NY 12075, emailed, or placed in the secure drop box in the main entrance door of town hall.
NOTICE: NYS HAS UPDATED ITS CODES!
Permit applications received 12/31/2025 and after will be regulated by the 2025 NYS Uniform Code.
